Trans 9

This Dustin is about six years older than his 'canon' version taken from the year 2010, which would make him about 25. Trans 9 is a reality in which anything and everything from a multitude or universes was destoryed by an alien race called the Ohm. The former crew of a sentient spaceship with a bunch of different Ais from various 'rescued' from certain worlds and people and tasked them with restoring their own worlds and stopping the Ohm. Dustin was one of these people that were rescued. Despite that none of his teammates were awakened (except for Cam showing up rather briefly) Dustin did find people that were trustworthy.

One of these happened to be a young Billy Cranston, one of the first Power Rangers. He also talks with several other people: Both Spiderman (each from a different reality), a youngman named Ron Stoppable that he'd get along greatly with later on, an older dark-haired woman named Eva, a waterbender named Kaya, among others.

Soon after. Dustin begins to try to teach those willing about the Wind Ninja Academy's Earth Ninja techniques with very few interested. As he talks with Billy more, Dsutin becomes fast friends with him and helps him establish a Ranger team by Billy using the original Thunderzords and creating morphers based on them. They had to persuade some of the leaders of Trans 9 and the ship's sentient mind that this was a good idea however which took a great deal of time. Eventually they relented despite Billy going briefly evil for a short time thanks to a competent villain brainwashing him.

After the ordeal the so-called 'Meatship Power Rangers' were born after finding the perfect five to be Rangers: Jamie McCrimmon Red Ranger, Lash Yellow Ranger, Kate Bishop/Hawkeye Pink Ranger, Andy Blue Ranger (who would eventually be put back into the pods and later be replaced by another Ranger named Punchy), and lastly Ron Stoppable Green Ranger. Dsutin appointed himself to help out the new Rangers anyway he could. He trained them along with Billy at hand to hand martial arts, weapon training, zord piloting and similar skills.

However Dustin didn't get along with everyone on the ship. Two people in particular unnerved him: Marco of the Animorphs team, and an unknown female to him. He got in a verbal fight with both of them rergarding the present crew and their situation. Which presented himself in a manner that very positive as he didn't believe in the concept of 'weak people' and the female character continued to argue with him.

Prior to the game's unfortunate end, Dustin encountered a small yellow Earth Pony during a jaunt and got along with her (and even joined) as she was having fun in the dirt. This would later prove important as later they would have to work together when they found Applejack and him sharing a simgle body, having two minds together. Depsite her major freak out, they were able to remain calm until the effect was reversed. And then Dustin found himself in Ponyville instead of arriving home in Bluebay Harbor.

Personality: To put Dustin's personality bluntly, he's a people person. Overly cheerful, he's as friendly as someone can be saving the world. He is the "comic book geek" of the Wind Rangers, and was a fan of previous Rangers, who were considered urban legend, visible when they are first given morphers and he is the first to morph and (in turn) show Shane and Tori how to morph. He is somewhat naive and gullible as he has been used by one of Lothor's nieces Marah, but still retains his good natured outlook on life. Dustin has a bit of sympathy for Marah as they are both over looked by their colleagues and consider stupid by the others. Dustin actually will try to cheer up anyone down in the dumps, even if that person happens to be an enemy. He is very close to fellow Rangers Tori and Shane, having been childhood friends with both of them. Despite this, others tend to look down on him being a complete goofball and even a fool as stated by the Rangers' enemy Lothor. Dustin takes everything in stride however, and very few things bother him for very long. What he lacks in perspective or smarts, he makes up for it in heart. Dustin believes that most people are generally good and trustworthy, even if their previous actions might have you look otherwise he feels that there's good in almost everyone.

However if his trust is betrayed, Dustin has a tendancy to second guess himself particularly if his friends tend to doubt him. He also is very close to his father Jake, claiming that he taught him everything he knows about racing and motorcross. He also doesn't see anything wrong with using his own powers with helping non-Ranger friends such as his boss Kelly when they are in trouble. He firmly believes that his greatest ninja skill is his instinct. His bad side tends to rub off on the fact that he can be too trusting, which can backfire on him. He also likely has a problem with people never taking him seriously, but at his heart he's a kind hearted person who just tries to do the right thing.

Dustin even though most onlookers consider him too flakey or irresponsible to be dependable for anything, particularly as a Ranger he has the utmost faith in himself and the people who know him. Confidant without being cocky most times, Dustin is the kind of guy who's easy to warm up to. He describes himself as the 'mellow reflective dude' in the opening episode and even when faced with trouble or seeing someone else in trouble he's the first to help others no matter if it's a friend or a stranger regardless of the consequences. This can backfire on him frequently and often does as once Dustin stopped to help a passing couple with their car despite being told if they(Dustin, Tori and Shane) were late once more they'd be expelled from the Ninja Academy.

Because of Dustin's seemingly lack of responsibility his fellow Ninja Storm Rangers tend to treat at arms length sometimes because he tends to trust those he should not be trusted. However Dustin always tries to do the right things, even if he can be very spontaneous and doesn't use his mind at first glance he will stick by his friends and those he cares for quite a long time.

Even though Dustin is quite aware of the way he trusts people, (example: he gives his motorbike to someone who could fix it up and when he can't find him still refuses to admit he could have been lied to) his friends tell him he shouldn't be so trusting to a complete stranger. Even going so far to tell him to stop trusting everyone he sees. Even in the first episode 'Prelude to a Storm', his friend Shane says Dustin should stop helping people and try to get to class. Or they would get in big trouble. He typically pushes the thoughts of not helping or trusting aside: at his basic he just has to trust people and feels that his greatest skill is his instinct in trusting people.

From what I've seen out of all of his teammates, he finds the hardest to relate to is Cam. Blue and Red Rangers Tori and Shane are childhood friends with Dustin and he has similar interests with the Thunder Rangers as all three of them are into motorcross. But Cam in the beginning of series thinks of nothing good abut Dustin, in Cam's words: he's lazy, late to class all the time, thinks Dustin would goof off rather work. When Dustin actually tries to show that he's not a goof, because at the time the CD entrusted to Dustin by Cam to improve their motorcycles (called Tsunami Cycles) were later stolen by the (then) Lothor-aligned Thunder Rangers.

Dustin wants to be respected and in fact he was the only Ranger brave enough to say to their sensei that he's wrong in not letting Cam be a Ranger in the beginning. (Dustin called his sensei's side of the argument 'weak' while Sensei didn't agree with it, he appreciated Dustin's honesty.)

As stated above, his chief interests or hobbies are that the relates to his natural talents such as the extreme sport of motorcross. Essentially a sport that requires him to be both quick to react to situations and more to rely on his instincts as a racer. Though he appears to have knowledge of both sides of the sport, he excels more on the racing side of the sport rather than the freestyle trick side as seen as seen in on of the last episodes of Ninja Storm. His teammate Blake even offhandedly mentions that originally Dustin didn't want to do freestyle because Dustin had said previously he didn't want to get hurt for race season. At first he did argue about doing both styles, but eventually gave up his race career to begin a freestyle career. He also claims that all of his racing skills were learned from his dad who taught him everything he knows about the sport. The how isn't explained much, but it could be assumed that Dustin's father was a racer when he was young.

He also has passing knowledge of comic books and presumably of the existence of the Power Rangers as a whole. Most likely DC comics exists in some form as Ninja Storm's sequel series Dino Thunder mentions both Batman and Superman, and there apparently is some kind of comic based on Power Rangers if an offhand remark from his teammate Tori means anything.

When last thing to discuss is the subject of morality the way Dustin sees things. Dustin for the most part sees things in black and white for the most part, with the occasional grey thing coming to mind as he's also a ninja as well as a Ranger. He doesn't deal well with betrayal, murder, and other awful things as he sees them as evil. Loyalty, honor, bravery, these all are virtues for Dustin to follow proudly in his opinion.

When he is forced to make a hard moral decision, Dustin would listen to both sides before deciding. He would make the decision based on his instincts and gut and would follow through usually believing that all people have the capacity for good. Even if making the choice is hard, maybe even unpopular, or borderline stupid, Dustin would stick with trusting people over not trusting them. For instance, if he was put into a command role for some reason then he would try not to do more damage than necessary to anyone and would avoid to kill anyone unless forced to in the beginning. He would not needlessly risk his crewmates lives and would do almost anything to protect them. Because teammates are family. He also wouldn't ally with anyone purposely 'evil' like a serial murderer and similar morally bankrupt people.

Strengths: Dustin has a few powers of note. He has been trained at the Wind Ninja Academy to have earth-based powers, primarily the ability to travel and attack underground as well as to shoot yellow energy from his hands. (which is concentrated Earth power, as far as I can tell) The latter ability doesn't appear to be too destructive as a fellow Ranger (or anyone with powers really) can easily counter it as it's not exactly subtle. However, to a non-powered person this attack can extremely painful, likely capable of broken bones at the very least.

Dustin, like all ninja academy students has a power called 'Ninja Streak' which allows him to move at blinding speeds alibeit in the form of a yellow streak across the landscape. It is a form of travel not a combat power, and he is able to do said power in and out of Ranger form. His primary ability is to transform into the Yellow Wind Ranger by saying 'Ninja Storm, Ranger form' and in that form he can trigger earthquakes with his Lion Hammer, split into two fighters, and even travel and attack underground. To activate his Ranger powers he raises his Wind Morpher to the sky, says the above words and is transformed. The device is mostly gold and black colored, with his yellow Power Disc which has the insignia of the lion. The suit can be removed by saying 'power down' which reverts him to civilain clothes, or 'ninja form' which reverts Dustin to his ninja clothes. He also has a hang glider in yellow that he can summon in his Ranger form.

Now to limit these powers: His speed would be during a ninja streak would be considerably slower on the land, as well as he couldn't use it against another player's character without permission. He also wouldn't be able to use this power on the water. I don't believe the other powers need to be cut down. If they do please let me know mods.

As stated earlier Dustin is a Earth Ninja from the Wind Ninja Academy located secretly in Blue Bay Harbor, California. He has the ability to travel underground without transforming and can trigger minor earthquakes as well in a small area near him.

He is also well adversed in the extreme sport motorcross, from being his own mechanic to noting rather famous people in the sport.
Weaknesses:
A few weaknesses contributing to Dustin is that he is very much a physical and short range fighter. (His main weapon is a hammer to give you some idea) He's very much a hands-on type of learning. He didn't excell in his ninja studies and was in the low end of the class during the beginning of his series. However, as his sensei once said: his actions show his dedication. Loyal to a fault, he pretty much trusts everone for better or worse.

Possessions: Just his black leather ninja outfit and his Wind Morpher. Is he allowed to bring his bronze medal from the Equestria Games that he won in the hammer throw event?
Pony/Animal Type: Earth Pony
Cutie Mark: A yellow lion's face aka the symbol on his chest when he transforms into the Yellow Ranger.

First Person: Hey dudes? How's everyone today? I'm Dustin, Dustin Brooks. Just in case anyone recognzies the name.

[Dustin raises an eyebrow but doesn't comment on his obvious pony self.]

I have to admit I don't really knoiw this place that well, other than what Applejack shared with me that one time though. It does remind me of Bluebay Harbor a little. A quiet town that every so often has an evil bad guy attacking. Really reminds me of back home. Anyway dudes? If any of these names sound familair let me know okay?

Billy, Lash, Kate, Ron, Jamie? Any of you here? Applejack? No, I guess I will have to wiat on that then. Does anyone here know a good place to get some good chow? Later!

Third Person:

While it wasn't Dustin first time in a world that wasn't his, he did his best not to freak out. After all he was the 'mellow reflective' dude. Freaking out even if he wasn't in his own body, wasn't Dustin's style. So he concentrated on walking on all four legs, which was easier than he expected it to be. He had already searched to find he still had his Wind Morpher and it still had worked to Dustin's own surprise. One step after another after...

Not seeing a small fallen tree branch, Dustin stepped on it andwithout warning lost his balance. After stumbling up, he wondered why he fell. "Applejack had made this walking on four legs look easy/ Back to trying it again." He gave a sigh as he tried to walk the path again which was the path towards out of Everfree Forest and to the small town of Ponyville. "Walking really is hard, but I'll figure it out eventually. Onwards to Ponyville!" Dustin gave small shout as he walked, this time paying special attention not to step on anything but the path, he was improving. Any maybe he could find someone here who could figure out how to send him home. Because he had to trust the people just like on the meatship or back home.
